Introduction
Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal under the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Andre Wienholz, von Herslo Weg 17, 22457 Hamburg, Germany, Tel.: +49 1520 6293126, E-Mail: support@kabelguy.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, which is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this repayment.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties, and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion or Early Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of the conclusion of the contract, are not members of a Member State of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address at the time of conclusion of the contract is outside the European Union.
General Notes
Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to provide adequate protection against transport damage.
Please do not return the goods freight collect.
Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
