Which extension cable fits my Chinese parking heater?
Our cables are compatible with all common Chinese diesel parkingheaters. The only thing that matters is the plug on your cable –not the brand, the power rating or the display. Compare your existingplug with the product images or use theCable Finder – you'll find the rightcable in seconds.
Does the heating power (2 kW, 5 kW or 8 kW) matter?
For the display extension cable, no – only the plug type matters.For our intake adapters, however, thepower rating does matter: there you choose the model to suit 2 kWor 5 kW / 8 kW.
How do I identify my plug type?
Simply look at your existing plug. Note the number of pinsand the shape of the connector and compare it withour product photos – each plug type is clearly shown there. Only theplug itself matters. If in doubt, send a photo of your plug tosupport@kabelguy.de and we'lltell you which cable fits.
What's the difference between a 2-pin and a 3-pin plug?
It only depends on your existing plug – count the pins and comparethe shape with our product photos. Then choose the version thatexactly matches your plug.
Which cable length should I choose – 2 m, 3 m or 5 m?
The length depends only on your installation distance, not on theheater. Measure the distance between the desired display position andthe heater and choose the next longer length. When in doubt, go alittle longer – excess cable is easy to route neatly.
Will the display lose any function if I extend the cable?
No. Our extension cables are made exactly for this purpose. The displayand control unit work unchanged after extension – just plug it inbetween.
Is installation plug & play?
Yes. You disconnect the existing plug connection, insert the extensioncable in between and plug both sides back in. No cutting, no soldering,no modification needed.
Will the intake adapter fit my heater?
Choose the adapter to match the power class (2 kW or 5 kW / 8 kW). Theexact dimensions are in each product description. The adapter is fittedto the air intake of the heater, not to the air outlet.
